At the Mayo Clinic Transform meeting in Rochester, Minnesota, Rhode Island Quality Institute CEO and President Laura Adams spoke enthusiastically about creating a statewide health database that could apply artificial intelligence and machine learning methods to optimize care. The work is so inspiring, she said, that sometimes she wishes she did not have to sleep.
